Probably one of the most influential books I will read. I am not even half way through yet, but I have such an attachement to the way Patti Smith recalls her young and naive years with Robert Mappelthorpe. Its a book I think I may pick up and read over and over again throughout life. For those low on inspiration or feeling lost..its worth picking up, and for those that just enjoy a well told...

Summer Poem
A Lemon
Pablo Neruda
Out of lemon flowers loosed on the moonlight, loves, lashed and insatiable essences, sodden with fragrance, the lemon tree’s yellow emerges, the lemons move down from the tree’s planetarium Delicate merchandise! The harbors are big with it- bazaars for the light and the barbarous gold. We open the halves of a miracle, and a clotting of acids brims into the...
Push Ups in the Park
Its not everyday you get invited to a launch and get kitted out in sports wear to then, get down to a 30min grueling fitness session! Alas last Thursday I did just that with the Nike team from Exposure PR. The session was lead by two of Nikes master trainers, and mixes strength, cardio and core exercises to make sure you get the most out of each session.

Road Trippin'
The summer always makes me want to get a camper van and go on an English road-trip. Maybe it comes from when I was younger and I went on a camping holiday with my family, every year, whatever the weather, without fail. Being in London most of the time just fuels this urge, so maybe I will. Drive to Newquay, learn to surf and then sleep in the campervan next to the beach. Not very logical (basic...
Straight Laced
What is it that we love about cream lace? After having a wardrobe clear out today and going through bags, I have lace dresses, tees, skirts even from a few years ago. And I still love it, always on the lookout for the perfect white/cream flower lace dress. Maybe its the notion of romance behind it or the material being so girly?
Last but not least, Blake Lively killing it in...

Hush Hush
We are working on a top-secret project here at ML HQ, but I am so excited about its development and getting it out to you guys, that I just had to put up a small blog about it. So without giving too much away, it looks something like this-my photoshop skills are pretty dire, and it was the only way I could distort the image you see!
Work.
Looks something a bit like this at the moment…

Our first meeting of the week has just been with contemporary badge designer Zsofi Nora, who is looking to collaborate with us on REMADE in a few months time. Claire's Pamper Day
After spending the morning sewing away on the upcoming MAKE LEMONADE REMADE collection we made our way over to the Powder Rooms in soho ( on a bus that took nearly an HOUR!) for the claire’s accessories pamper day. Greeted with tea and sandwiches the lovely Sophie from Exposure PR showed us the collection (which will be in stores around August time) Here’s a sneak peak….

The French Aesthetic
From the days of Francoise Hardy and Catherine Deneuve in the 1960’s to current times with the likes of Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou Doillon and Clemence Poesy posing as modern day style icons, the French woman and her approach to dressing has always been a fascinating and inspiring matter. There is always something so chic, so refined and so effortless about the French style and the way...

The calm after the storm.
So today the spring time jewellery went live on ASOS, probably the most exciting point in my life to date. It seems like forever ago that I was just starting out thinking about what the collection was going to include, and now its all VERY much real. The main inspiration came from making a play on words, (‘Spring Time’) using the spring for the colour inspirations and nature aspects,...

Medham Kirchoff is releasing a second collection for Topshop after the success of their first. This collection has been called fantastical, with breton strip clad leggings, leopard print and tinsel. Its all a bit rebellious and different with random elements coming in and out, here and there....
